How should I get ready for Laser Pigmentation Removal?

  • No Tanning – Allow at least two weeks between tanning, using a sunbed, or applying fake tan and your treatment.
  • No Laser/IPL/Carbon Peel/Waxing – Wait at least two weeks between previous treatments.
  • No using topical Vitamin A or Hydroquinone – Allow at least 1 week between using topical Vitamin A or Hydroquinone and your treatment.

    • What kind of aftercare is required following my treatment?

    Laser pigment removal causes a mild discoloration of the pigment before it heals in a matter of days. During this period:

  • Apply topical creams on a regular basis.
  • For 7 days, avoid direct sunlight and sunbeds. If you’re going to be outside, wear at least SPF50.
  • Avoid excessive perspiration by avoiding heat from showers, saunas, and baths.
  • Exfoliating your skin near the treatment area should be avoided.
