Hydrodermabrasion

About Hydrodermabrasion

Hydrodermabrasion, also known as wet microdermabrasion, is a newer variation of the technique that incorporates the use of a liquid-based cosmeceutical solution.

In hydro dermabrasion, a handheld device is used that releases a stream of water-based onto the skin’s surface while simultaneously exfoliating the treatment area with a diamond-encrusted tip which also facilitates in the absorption of the cosmeceutical ingredient used during and after the procedure. As working over the treated area, loose skin cells and impurities are simultaneously vacuumed away.

Both wet and dry microdermabrasion can help improve various skin concerns, including fine lines, dehydration, retention hyperkeratosis, uneven skin tone, and texture. The choice between the two techniques may depend on individual preferences, skin type, and the overall health of the skin that’s being treated.
